Program Description

Kennedy’s Graphics Design & Animation Program is a unique series of hands-on, real-world, creative and extremely informative graphic design classes and web design classes. This  work-study course has been developed specifically for people seeking to enter the graphic design and web design field in less than a year.

This intense 48-week program teaches you the skills and concepts required to develop high-end, professional-quality illustrations, layouts and web sites. Through this curriculum you learn advanced design principles and techniques for both print and the Internet, and become proficient in the programs graphic designers and web designers use. The program is committed to providing a solid foundation in good design with emphasis on the skilled operation of industry-system and software used in the graphic arts and web design industry.

The program is offered in full-time for 48 weeks.  

Employment Prospect

Graphic designers conceptualize and produce graphic art and visual materials to effectively communicate information for publications, advertising, films, packaging, posters, signs and interactive media such as web sites and CD-ROMs. Illustrators conceptualize and create illustrations to represent information through images.

Web designers and developers research, design, develop and produce Internet and intranet sites. They are employed in computer software development firms, information technology consulting firms and in information technology units throughout the private and public sectors, or they may be self-employed.
