Diploma in Quality Control & Assurance

Program Description

Quality Control & Assurance Program provides students a comprehensive review and understanding of Quality Management. It provides participants with the fundamental knowledge, skills and key competency areas essential to pursue the certified quality engineer (CQE), offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). It covers such key areas in CQE as quality fundamentals, including training in the Managing, Engineering, Auditing, Improvement Associate and Technician bodies of knowledge. After finishing this course, Students may take the CQE certification examination offered by ASQ and get CQE Certificate.

Kennedy College is registered under the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of The Province of Ontario. Kennedy is also an ASQ (American Society for Quality) partner. The course is taught by professionals with years of experience in quality management, and classes will be comprised of a combination of lectures, case analyses, discussions, and exercises. 

The program is offered in full-time for 26 weeks or part time 40 weeks.

This program provides a theoretical and practical background in the field of Quality Assurance. It is intended both for people currently working in the field of Quality Assurance and who seek to increase their knowledge, and for individuals considering employment in the field of Quality Assurance.

Career Opportunities

The student will be qualified for positions such as internal quality inspector, quality technician and quality engineer.
